TACCSPRO (Pty) Ltd (“TACCSPRO”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a South African accounting, taxation, payroll and business advisory services company.
We are committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality and security of the personal information entrusted to us by our clients, prospective clients, employees, suppliers, business partners and website visitors.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, store, use, disclose and protect personal information in accordance with applicable South African legislation, including:

- The Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).

For the purposes of POPIA, TACCSPRO acts as the responsible party when it determines the purpose and means of processing personal information.
Where we process information solely on behalf of another responsible party, our responsibilities may differ according to the applicable service agreement and POPIA.

Preparing, reviewing and submitting tax returns, assisting with SARS correspondence and supporting compliance with applicable tax legislation.
4.3 Payroll administration
Processing payroll information, calculating statutory deductions, preparing payroll reports and assisting with employment-related compliance.
4.4 Company administration
Assisting with company registrations, statutory amendments, CIPC submissions and related corporate administration.
4.5 Advisory services
Providing accounting, taxation, business and financial advisory services based on information supplied by clients.
4.6 Client communication
Responding to enquiries, arranging consultations, communicating about services and maintaining ongoing professional relationships.
4.7 Legal and regulatory compliance
Complying with applicable statutory obligations, lawful regulatory requests and professional requirements.
4.8 Website operation and security
Maintaining website functionality, preventing spam, protecting systems against abuse and responding to technical incidents.
We do not process personal information for purposes incompatible with those for which it was originally collected, unless permitted by law.
5.Lawful basis for processing
TACCSPRO processes personal information where permitted by POPIA, including where processing is necessary to:
- Give effect to a contract or proposed service agreement.
- Comply with legal or statutory obligations.
- Protect a legitimate interest of a data subject.
- Pursue a legitimate interest of TACCSPRO or a third party, where legally appropriate.
- Perform processing for which valid consent has been obtained.
Where consent is required, it will be requested appropriately.
Consent may be withdrawn, subject to applicable legal obligations and other lawful grounds for continued processing.
6.Website contact forms and consultation requests
Our website provides facilities for visitors to submit enquiries and request consultations. When you submit a form, your information is used to:
- Identify and respond to your enquiry.
- Contact you about the services requested.
- Arrange consultations or follow-up communications.
- Maintain appropriate records of business correspondence.
The website does not store your submission in a database. It is delivered by email to accounts@taccspro.co.za and kept in TACCSPRO’s business mailbox in line with section 15 (Retention).
Submitting an enquiry is voluntary. However, certain contact information is necessary for us to respond.
Submitting an enquiry does not automatically establish a professional client relationship with TACCSPRO.
Please do not include identity documents, banking credentials, passwords or other highly sensitive financial information in general website enquiry forms. Where sensitive documentation is required, TACCSPRO will arrange an appropriate method of submission.
7.Email communications — Resend
TACCSPRO uses Resend, a third-party email delivery platform, to deliver website enquiry notifications. Our website uses the verified sending domain notify.taccspro.co.za.
Resend may process the information necessary to deliver website enquiry notifications, including:
- Sender and recipient email addresses.
- Email subject lines.
- Submitted enquiry information included in email messages.
- Email delivery and diagnostic information.
Resend may process or store information outside South Africa, subject to the contractual arrangements and safeguards described in section 13. TACCSPRO remains responsible for taking appropriate steps to ensure that personal information is processed lawfully.
We do not use website enquiry submissions to send unsolicited marketing communications.
8.Website security — Cloudflare Turnstile
Our website uses Cloudflare Turnstile to protect online forms from spam, automated submissions and malicious activity. Turnstile may process the technical information required to distinguish legitimate users from automated traffic, including:
- Device and browser information.
- IP addresses.
- Interaction and security signals.
- Verification tokens.
This information is processed for website security and fraud prevention. Cloudflare may process information through infrastructure located outside South Africa.
9.Website hosting — Vercel
Our website is hosted and delivered using infrastructure provided by Vercel. Vercel may process the technical information necessary to deliver website content and maintain the security, availability and performance of the website, such as IP addresses, request metadata, operational logs and security-related information.
Information may be processed through infrastructure located outside South Africa. TACCSPRO takes reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate contractual and technical safeguards apply to service providers handling personal information.
10.Google Analytics and website performance
Google Analytics is not currently active on this website. TACCSPRO may in future use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used and to improve our online services. If enabled, it may collect information about:
- Website visits.
- Pages viewed.
- Device and browser characteristics.
- General geographic information.
- Website interactions and performance.
If Google Analytics is enabled, it will load only after you choose “Accept” in our cookie banner. If you decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, it will not load. Advertising features will remain switched off, and you can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the website footer.
This section will be updated to reflect the analytics services actually enabled on our website.
11.Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files or identifiers used by websites and service providers to support functionality and related services. Our website may use:
- Essential technologies: necessary for website functionality, security and fraud prevention, including a record of your cookie choice stored in your browser.
- Security-related technologies: used by Cloudflare Turnstile and other security systems.

12.Sharing and disclosure of personal information
TACCSPRO does not sell personal information. We may disclose personal information to third parties where necessary to deliver our services or fulfil legal obligations. Recipients may include:

- The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), where applicable.
- Other relevant statutory and regulatory authorities.
- Approved accounting and payroll software providers, such as Sage, where applicable to the services we provide.
- IT, hosting and email service providers, including Vercel (website hosting), Resend (website email delivery), Cloudflare (website security) and Afrihost (business email and hosting).
- Professional advisers or authorised service providers.
- Financial institutions, where necessary for authorised services.
Information is shared only where there is a lawful basis and a legitimate operational requirement.
Where service providers process information on our behalf, we seek appropriate confidentiality, security and data-processing safeguards.
13.Cross-border transfer of personal information
Some technology service providers used by TACCSPRO, including Vercel, Resend, Cloudflare and, where applicable, Google and Sage, operate internationally. Certain personal information may therefore be transferred to, accessed from or processed in countries outside South Africa.
Such transfers are managed in accordance with section 72 of POPIA. We transfer personal information outside South Africa only where at least one of the following applies:
- The recipient is subject to a law, binding corporate rules or a binding agreement that provides an adequate level of protection substantially similar to POPIA, including rules on further transfers.
- You have consented to the transfer.
- The transfer is necessary to perform a contract between you and TACCSPRO, or to take steps you have requested before entering into a contract.
- The transfer is necessary to conclude or perform a contract with a third party that is in your interest.
- The transfer is for your benefit, and it is not reasonably practicable to obtain your consent, but you would be likely to give it.
Where relevant, TACCSPRO relies on the service providers’ contractual data-protection terms and security commitments, and selects providers that apply recognised safeguards to the information they process.
14.Information security
TACCSPRO takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against:
- Unauthorised access.
- Accidental loss.
- Unlawful disclosure.
- Alteration or destruction.
- Misuse.
- Cybersecurity threats.
Such measures may include access restrictions, authentication, secure system configuration, software maintenance, spam prevention and appropriate service-provider safeguards. Access to confidential client information is restricted to authorised persons who require it for legitimate business purposes.
Although reasonable safeguards are implemented, no internet-based system or electronic communication method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. In the event of a security compromise, TACCSPRO will investigate and take appropriate action, including any notifications required under section 22 of POPIA.
15.Retention of personal information
TACCSPRO retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable law. Retention periods differ depending on the type of information and the relevant statutory requirements:
- Accounting and taxation records: retained according to applicable SARS, accounting and other statutory record-keeping requirements.
- Company and statutory records: retained according to applicable company legislation and related requirements.
- Employee and payroll records: retained in accordance with applicable employment, tax and statutory requirements.
- Website enquiries: general enquiries and consultation requests received through the website are retained for 12 months from the date of receipt, unless a longer period is required by law. Where an enquiry leads to an engagement, the related correspondence forms part of the client record and is retained as described above.
Once information is no longer required, it will be securely deleted, destroyed or de-identified, unless continued retention is legally permitted or required.
16.Your rights as a data subject
Subject to applicable legal requirements, you have rights relating to your personal information. These include the right to:
- Request confirmation of whether TACCSPRO holds personal information about you.
- Request access to your personal information.
- Request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion or destruction of information where legally appropriate.
- Object to certain processing activities.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
Certain requests may be restricted where TACCSPRO is legally required or otherwise permitted to retain or process particular records.
Requests may be submitted to accounts@taccspro.co.za. TACCSPRO may require reasonable verification of your identity before disclosing, correcting or deleting personal information.
17.Direct marketing
TACCSPRO does not automatically subscribe website visitors to marketing communications when they submit an enquiry.
Where electronic direct marketing is undertaken, TACCSPRO will comply with the applicable requirements of POPIA. Where consent is required, it will be obtained before marketing communications are sent, and recipients will be given an appropriate opportunity to opt out.
18.Client confidentiality
As an accounting, taxation and advisory services practice, TACCSPRO recognises the importance of professional confidentiality. Client information, financial records, business affairs and supporting documentation are treated as confidential.
Confidential information will not be disclosed to unauthorised third parties except where:
- Disclosure is authorised by the client.
- Disclosure is necessary to provide an agreed service.
- Disclosure is legally required.
- Another lawful basis for disclosure applies.
TACCSPRO endeavours to maintain appropriate confidentiality obligations with employees and external service providers who handle client information.
19.Third-party websites
Our website may contain links to external websites, including professional service providers, statutory bodies and software platforms. TACCSPRO is not responsible for the privacy practices, content or security arrangements of independent third-party websites. Please review the relevant privacy policies before submitting information to those services.
20.Children’s personal information
Our website and professional services are primarily intended for adults and business users.
We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through our general website enquiry facilities unless there is an appropriate lawful basis. Where children’s information is necessary for legitimate taxation, trust, estate, payroll or other professional services, processing will be undertaken in accordance with POPIA and other applicable requirements.

TACCSPRO’s Information Officer is responsible for overseeing the organisation’s compliance with applicable data protection requirements. This includes:
